See Agung volcano, the highest point on the island

Agung is considered the holiest mountain and it is the home of the important mother temple of Besakih. Enjoy beautiful scenery and take photos of the panoramic view of the volcano. The area surrounding the mountain is interesting: clouds come from the west so it rains more often at that side of the mountain and results in a green and lush area on the west side. The drive to the area is also very enjoyable as you pass through forests, villages and fields.
